Patrick Carney, Chairman and CEO
Patrick Carney defines and directs the company's vision and strategic initiatives. He is responsible for establishing the overall investment strategy of the company and its major transactions. Having started the company in 1968, Mr. Carney has over 40 years of real estate investment and development experience.
Elias Patoucheas, President
Elias Patoucheas serves as President of the Claremont Companies. He is responsible for managing the company's acquisition, development, financing and asset management efforts and for assisting with developing business strategy and direction. Mr. Patoucheas has completed over one billion in real estate transactions since joining Claremont in 1997. Mr. Patoucheas received his BA from Babson College in 1997. Contact
Clare Cole, Chief Financial Officer
Clare Cole oversees the company's finance and accounting departments. She is responsible for financial planning, budgeting and financial reporting. She also directs investment and cash management for the company. Ms. Cole is a CPA and holds a Masters of Science in Finance from Bentley College. In her time with Claremont, Clare has served in key roles including CFO and Corporate Controller. Contact
Michael Conners, Vice President
Michael Conners focuses on sourcing, locating, and financing real estate acquisitions and investment opportunities for Claremont Companies. In this role, he is responsible for locating opportunities, underwriting all potential acquisitions, and securing and negotiating debt financing. Michael graduated from Providence College in 1995 and received his MBA from Babson College in 2002. Contact
Patrick Carney, Jr., Vice President
Patrick Jr. joined Claremont in 2007 after working 11 years on trading desks at both Fidelity Investments and Tudor Investments. He now spends his time pursuing new property and development opportunities as well as overseeing Claremont’s current holdings. Patrick received his BA from Boston College in 1995. Contact
Michael Phillips, Vice President of Construction
Michael Phillips joined Claremont in 1994 and oversees all national construction initiatives including new construction, renovations, tenant improvement work, and historic rehabilitation/development. With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, Michael's vision has earned Claremont numerous awards including Apartment of the Year by Architectural Record. Contact
Jim Letton, Regional Manager Claremont Residential, LLC
Jim Letton is responsible for the overall performance of the multi-family properties in Claremont's portfolio. Jim works directly with the managers of the communities to ensure that each property is performing as planned. He is accountable for the day to day operations of each site, including occupancy, collections, expenses, and resident related issues. Jim is also responsible for finding new and innovative ways to increase the value of each site by increasing revenue and decreasing expenses. Contact
Eric Chalmers, Regional Manager Claremont Hotels, LLC
Eric Chalmers brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to Claremont. In his role as Vice President of Hotel Operations he oversees all aspects of hotel operations, sales and marketing as well as participating in the analysis and valuation of new hotel ventures. Mr. Chalmers holds a BA from the University of New Hampshire and has been with Claremont since December 2009. Contact
